Completing a feat like the Avon 39 often takes more than training. It takes the kind of determination and work that Audrey Williams faced as she worked to conquer breast cancer. And this year she triumphed – celebrating one year as a breast cancer survivor, Audrey shares her story about how Elite Feet USA played a role in her being able to conquer the Walk to End Breast Cancer.
“I’ve run marathons in the past and wore orthotics Tammy made for me, but
when I developed a neuroma in my foot I was really in pain. As a one year
breast cancer survivor, I signed up to walk the Avon 39, a 39.3 mile two day
walk, ” The Walk to End Breast Cancer” and as I started walking more miles
I had more pain. The new orthotics Tammy designed were awesome! I was able
to finish 39.3 miles pain free and smiling at the end!” – Audrey Williams
